Thanks and Message from the Organizer:
I want to thank all who came out and participated in Saturday’s “The State of Police Reform in Boston” community town hall forum. To our panelists, elected officials from City Council and State Legislature as
well as community members and media alike, your time and input is greatly appreciated. By all accounts it was a lively and informational discussion. As we discussed during the meeting I have been advocating
for a City Council hearing on this issue to bring the matter to a larger public forum on the record. As always, I am available to work with anyone who wishes to advance police reform in Boston and ensure we are functioning at our maximum potential.
FYI Here is the most recent piece from the Boston Globe’s Lea Skene who was in attendance and has been covering OPAT and related BPD issues.
Growing frustration over Boston’s police accountability system on display at community forum

Once again THANK YOU to all who participated and I look forward to executing our next steps and will keep everyone in the loop as to any movement on the City Council hearing.
