Originally aired on WGBH-TV’s ‘Say Brother’ program in 1988, co-produced and reported by Elliott Francis. ‘…Donald Johnson’ is the story of an 18-year old African-American teen from Boston, shot and killed by police at the end of a low speed car chase in the city’s Roxbury neighborhood. The half hour documentary received a New England Emmy Award for ‘Outstanding Public Affairs Reporting’ in 1988.
